Hi Everyone!
Happy Thursday friends! Its that time again babes….Blogger Stylin Home Tours time! A couple times a year my blog buddy Lindsay from The White Buffalo Styling Co hosts a bunch of us design crazed folk and invites us to open our homes to you to share how we are currently styling our spaces. Ive been honored to be part of this since Lindsay began it a few years ago and I can only assume she hasn’t gotten sick of me yet since she’s invited me back again! Thank you so much for having me for the Summer 16 edition sweet friend.
We are day 4 into this rodeo, so by now you’ve seen some pretty amazing homes. I mean, I love how everyone one has their own home style and how these spaces serve as great inspiration for your own homes! If you’re popping over from my boo thangs, Chelsea and Cate over at Style Mutt Home…WELCOME!! I love those girls. I started following them on IG a while ago and I just adore em and their style.
For those of you who are new Id like to welcome you to #thecottagebungalow. Two years ago my family and I traded in our newer construction builder grade large home for downsized living into a 1940s cottage bungalow with half the size and a million times the work. Its been a challenging, yet completely amazing experience and we are loving making this house into our home. We’ve been in renovation mayhem for most of this spring and continue to have lots and lots to do still, so this wont be a “complete home” tour, but rather a peek into some of the spaces that aren’t covered in dust and debris! And by “spaces” I really mean the living room..because truth is it’s the only one.
Our living room is my absolute favorite space in our home, and it’s not just because it’s the only one thats even remotely finished! I love how layered it is and with each new layer it becomes more and more my favorite.
My style is boho-eclectic, and Im a total maximalist. When it comes to interiors my motto is more is more. #gimmeallthethings. I love color, moody rooms (no white walls here!), color, pattern, texture, and scouring flea markets, antique fairs, estate sales, and Craigslist for pieces to add to our home.
Rooms around here are constantly changing and evolving and I hope you’ve enjoyed a quick peek into our living space’s current Summer style. Thank you all so much for stopping by! Up next on the tour is Bright Green Door so head over and see how Jess is doing Summer in her home. And if you haven’t seen all the homes on the tour yet, start from beginning with Lindsay’s. You wont want to miss any of it! And for daily happenings around #thecottagebungalow be sure to follow me on IG (@sgardnerstyle).
Heres a list of all the fab homes on today’s tour

I love your room every time I see it. The moody walls work so well with everything here, especially all that LIGHT! I’m so jealous! But you are complete inspiration and I love how you are all about making the most out of a small space. I can’t wait to see how you finish some of the other spaces!
