Hi Everyone! Happy Wednesday!
I wanted to pop in and share the goodies I found at the thrift store today. I went in not really looking for anything in particular and I was pleasantly surprised by what I found AND by how much I paid for it all.
My first find was pure luck. I was actually reading one of my fav blogs, 7th House on the Left this morning and fell in love with the gold framed inspiration board she created. I had been eyeing vintage frames for quite a while actually, so when I saw how she used hers I was determined to find one. I walked into the first store and tada, there she was…sitting all lonely on the floor. So I quickly scooped her up. The $.50 price tag was an added bonus!
Not quite sure what I’m going to do with it yet, though. I may use it to frame some art for the entryway gallery wall, or just hang it as it since it looks good against our blue walls. Its a bit beat up, but I love that about it.
I also found this great brass lamp for $5.50.
I love the shape of the base so this beauty may get a fresh coat of paint in a fun color. I’m thinking I’ll put on the desk for some pretty lighting.
My final two purchases are what I like to call “pretty little things”. They aren’t anything significant, but they make a big difference in a space.
The soap dispenser was $2.50. It has a very chinoiserie-esque feel to it and I’d been looking for a soap dispenser for the kitchen for a while now. The blue will look great with our rich navy walls. The little dish was $3.00 and it will find its home on my nightstand. I loved the shape of it and its the perfect size to house my jewelry and cell phone at night.
I love all the goodies I found today, and for a total of $12.39 ,with tax, I’d say it was a really successful trip!

Thank u! I just love to thrift. I’m still searching for my go-to spot. Right now I just browse a handful randomly and it’s really kind of hit or miss.
