Hi Everyone!
Three days in a row! I’m pretty proud of myself right now. I’m sure you’ve noticed things are kinda different on the blog. I’m trying to upgrade it a bit so I decided just to keep things simple for the time being. I have no idea what I’m doing so it should be a pretty interesting process.
Speaking of not knowing what to do…we’ve got a little problem going on in the kitchen. I like to call it the Wall of Shame. Its a big empty space on one side of the kitchen in between the pantry and the hallway entrance. It’s sad. It’s lonely. It’s empty. But not for long. We finally figured out what we are going to do with it.
At first I thought I might like to use it as a drink serving/bar area. I fell in love with idea of using an antique sideboard and putting up floating shelves to house wine glasses and such. My thoughts were somewhere along these lines:
