Hi Everyone!
Doesn’t the title of this post sound like the bad spinoff of the classic movie Bed Knobs & Broomsticks or was it Witches & Doorknobs? I’ve never actually seen it so im quite sure I’m butchering it just a little. Sorry babes. Anyway, I digress.
I really want a hammock in the family room. I’ve been wanting one since about 3 months after we moved in. My sweet Naomi, on the other hand, can’t quite wrap her mind around the vision of one of us sitting in it and our roof comes toppling down. Oh ye of little faith!
Thankfully for her she’s got me. Ye of copious amounts of faith! I mean, seriously? Anywhoo…regardless to all that, they are just plain freakin amazing. Have you not seen the awesome hammock living harmoniously amongst the crew over at Cakies? I know, right!! Bad. Ass.
And wouldnt ya know we conveniently “just so happen” to have the perfect lonely corner in our family room just begging for some swingin action. No not that kind of swingin… Lets stay on track here gutter mind!
Well hopefully not for long. Momma’s got a plan. We just gotta get the other momma to get on board with said plan. Just in case she absolutely won’t bugde on the hammock, I’ve got a backup plan. The hanging chair. Not that that’s any better since it still hangs from the ceiling. Oh well, I’m determined to have some piece of whimsical swingin/hangin furniture in that space dammitt!! Wish me luck!
