Hi Everyone!
Over the weekend I picked up a starbust mirror on sale at Target. I was really excited about it because I’ve been wanting one for a while and I knew it would make a great addition to the gallery wall. I loved the color and shape of it, but I thought it needed to be tweaked just a bit before it made its way up on the wall.
I’ve been wanting to try Rub N Buff since FOREVER so I figured this would be a great little project to give it a shot. I picked some up in Gold Leaf at Hobby Lobby and went to work. I really love how it turned out.
For those of you who have never used Rub n Buff, the process is super simple. You can use either a brush, your finger, or even a rag. For this project I used a combination of my finger and a small brush. The only word of advise I would give is to use this stuff in a well ventilated area. It has a really strong odor. Other than that you use it just as the name implies, rub and buff it on. Done and done.
Have you tweaked anything lately? Are you as in love with Rub N Buff as I am? Until next time…..

Is this a new product or am I just hearing about it? You are the second post that I’ve seen this week where they used this gold rub-on finish. I’ve got to try it. I love your clock . . . you are very creative. I also love how brave you are with color. The thing about navy is that it can be very playful, but also very elegant. You are using it in some very lovely ways.
I realize that I just found your blog, but I’m hooked . . . I enjoy seeing how other creative minds work and the ideas that spring from them. Please come over and visit . . . I adore making new friends and my welcome mat is always out.
Your newest blogging sister, Connie 🙂

Hey there! You should def get some. Maybe you can add some accents to one of the frames you have on your gallery wall or maybe even add some gold details to some of your vintage mirror collection? Whatever you decide I’m sure it’s going to be awesome. You have a really great eye.
