Hi Everyone!
I’ve got laundry rooms on the brain, my loves. Wonderful, glorious, functional laundry rooms. Mine is in need of a serious dose of pretty, so I’ve been scouting out images of spaces Im inspired by. Not only does our room need to function as a laundry room, its also the mudroom and the main entrance we use everyday off of the garage. I’m looking forward to the challenge of trying to pack a lot into a relatively small space. Each of these rooms has some element to them that I would love to incorporate into our space during the makeover.
1. Graphic Pattern- from ceilings, to walls, or even both?
2. Open Shelving-I’ve learned that I really prefer them to cabinets

My room is in total mess with clothes, books, & all the little stuff. I always wanted to clean it, but I hate cleaning. But your laundry room inspirations are amazing.
Jane.

Hi Jane. Does your room have a small corner with enough space for a tall chest of drawers? If so, you should consider incorporating one in the space. It could work wonders for coralling all the clothes, books, and little stuff. A small bowl on top could be the perfect spot to throw in your keys or mail. Its the small things that make the biggest difference:) Thanks so much for stopping by.

I would love to have a laundry/craft room but at this moment; it won’t going to happen! our laundry room is something I would love to work on very soon, maybe this summer! I love all the inspiration pictures! I love the shoe storage and the shelves! I’m sure yours will look amazing! can’t wait!

Hi Ingrid. Ohh summer project! Coming up with much more functional and aesthetically pleasing storage solutions are high up on my priority list. I hope you share your new space when you get it all done:)

Yes, I would love to share it, oh no, that would mean you will all have to see my not too clean space 😉 really can’t wait to see yours!

You really found some great inspiration photos. I repainted my laundry room not too long ago, but after seeing your photos I think it needs a little updating. It’s technically a mudroom since there is a door leading outside and my dogs track so much mud in it drives me crazy. We’re still trying to come up with a solution for the mud.

Hi Brandi! Yeah the daily in and out of the garage door access is probably my main concern, too. We plan on installing some type of tile in the space, so it should make clean up easier than it is now. I think we should do a laundry room spruce up together! That could be fun.

I love your inspirational images. I know what you decide will look great 🙂 Our laundry room doesn’t even have walls right now. Just beams for walls and no floor just concrete. One day, one day 😉 xo Kristin

Oh but Kristin, what an advantage you have! That just means you can really customize it from the beginning! How awesome is that?
