Hi Everyone!
So on Sunday, me and my dear friend Katrina, aka, Mrs Chic met up at Ikea for a little retail therapy. I know, right…Ikea and blog friends is pretty much always a recipe for a good time! We were having the best time browsing, chatting, and verbalizing our plans for our “in a perfect world dream kitchen” when we brought up the topic of the kitchen sink.
You know that moment when the dj is playing your jam and all of a sudden the vinyl comes to a screeching halt right as your belting out your FAVORITE part of the song?! Yeah that moment happened. My dear, sweet beautfiful friend is a SINGLE SINKER! And I my friends, am a DOUBLE SINKER. I mean its like we’re the families in Romeo and Juliet. Divided!
That made me wonder…..how many other folks out there are single sinker’s? I just really gotta know?
Are you a double sinker?
Or a single sinker?
Oh and while we’re on the subject of sinks. Please tell me Im not the only one whos completely OVER their porcelain basins!? I swear if I chip one more dish…….
Until next time….
XoXo-Shavonda
P.S. Katrina, I still love you!

Double sinker here! I still like to wash dishes by hand and a single sink is not my jam. I don’t personally have a problem with porcelain but it does show scratches and you defiantly have to be careful with how you, I mean the kids place dishes in it. My daughter has broken a lot of dishes and my husband just responds with, “you shouldn’t buy glass.” As if! 🙂

Double. My daughter has a Granite Composite sink and I love it! I have my heart set on finding one in a farmhouse style..I just haven’t found one that I like yet.

Team double sinker!!! I really want to add a farmhouse style sink to my kitchen. Most of what I’ve seen are porcelain; so you don’t recommend porcelain? My current sink s.s.

Hey lady! Yes! Team double sink!! Lol. This is actually my first time owing a porcelain sink and I gotta say Im not a fan. While I love the look of them they come with a ton of cons. They show every single scratch and mark, as the porcelain starts to wear its impossible to keep clean, it can stain and become rough, dishes beware bc it’s so hard that if you drop a glass or plate with slippery hands its pretty much guaranteed to break. With SS you don’t run into those issues.
