Hi Everyone!
Like so many of you I’ve been gearing up summer. Since Memorial Day Ive been silent on the blog because we’ve been in a bit of transition here in our colorful home. My daughter officially “graduated” from elementary school and my son has officially “graduated” to big boy school. My soon to be 6th grader is now off to Hawaii for the summer and my soon to be 1st grader is still grappling with the terrifying idea of being out of the comfort of Kindergarten.
I decided to take a bit of time to really enjoy this time with them. I was even a good girl and didn’t work on any major projects either. Of course you know I couldn’t keep my brush out of a paint can completely! I did dabble in a couple small things.
Ive been loving the painted baskets look for eons so I gave it a whirl. A basket I picked up for .50 at the thrift store got a makeover
And I decided to paint out the chalkboard frame
