Hi Everyone!!
Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Question for ya?
So what do you get when you combine an unused canvas, remnant paint, and cupcake baking cups?
Why baking cup art, of course!! This was such a fun and gratifying project. I posted on Istagram a while ago about the vast blank spot wall in the family room and asked for ideas on how to fill it. On Saturday I attended an event on color at my local West Elm and spotted this on a huge wall in the store:
I was completely shocked when I realized it was cupcake baking cups!! I knew I just HAD to have it somewhere in our home and I knew exactly how I was gonna do it.
I inherited a very large piece of art from a friend a while ago. It was sitting in the garage because I was saving it to reuse the canvas at some point.

This is amazing! We just moved and I have an empty wall in my dining room that I have no idea what to do with, now I do!

Store displays can be a great source of inspiration and you executed this idea in your home really well … great results and a nice addition to the wall. Perfect color palette you came up with from leftover paint, really is a great offset to the royal blue wall. The coral color looks to be the shade I’ve been searching for (mine keep going too pink) … happen to know the name / brand? Have a great week, Robin
