Thrift Score Thursday: The Little Things

Hi Everyone!

Happy #thriftscorethursday friends.  Apparently I didn’t royally botch things up last time so today im back guest hosting another segment with these awesome ladies:

Not quite sure what #thriftscorethursday is all about?  Well its quite simple friends.  You go on the hunt for something awesome. You find said awesome thing. You snap a pic of said awesome thing. You share it on social media with the hashtag “thriftscorethursday”. Easy as that.  And, no, this doesn’t mean you gotta get it from a thrift store.  You can share your Craigslist, yard sale, flea market,  street corner, dumpster dive,…basically anything-you -snag-for-a-great-deal finds. Every week these chicas  up above (along with a special guest host) will choose some of their favs that you tag to share on their blogs and social media.

Now I gotta say…I’ve been having some really awesome luck on the treasure hunting front lately.  I’ve learned these things usually come in waves, so im ridin this puppy like a professional surfer in a barely there bikini!  Ive been able to snag some epic larger pieces recently, but a lot of the times for me its the smaller finds that make my heart happy.  Our homes can’t all be made up of sets of midcentury chairs and burlwood coffee tables, now can they?!  It’s the little things that give our abodes soul and I’ve enjoyed sprinkling them in to our little bungalow lately. Here are a few treasure hunting bungalow happy moments:

A bamboo cane chair scored on a FB group: $25

Goodies from a local antique faire. Beads: $10 Basket: $30 (but gifted from a sweet friend) Serape: $20 Brass Turtle: $10

You guys have also found and shared some great treasures this week…both big and small.  Olivia found this awesome hanging chair! #supsjealous

Mandy scored this super pretty brass candle holder

Kim snagged an awesome pair of suitcases. Love her reuse of them!
