Hi Everyone!
Ok so you guys know I do a crap ton of treasure hunting…..both in person and online. I’m always on the lookout for great vintage furniture and one of a kind accessories. And lets just be honest here….MOST of the time Im looking for chairs. I make my rounds on Craigslist, Let Go and Offer Up on a daily, and Ive been known to brake for a many a thrift store, flea market, consignment shop, and even curbside find. Some of my most cherished pieces in our home have been found while on the hunt (including my beloved Eames inspired lounge) and I have an ongoing list of things im looking to add to our spaces. Alongside Craigslist and friends I also pop online to peruse sites such as Chairish, Lulu & Georgia, and Domino …..particularly if Im looking for something of a specific style or a something designer.
Im currently looking for a little something special to replace the little rattan chair in the living room
Theres nothing wrong with it, Ive just been looking for a little change. Im thinking Id love something a bit more structured. I keep going back and forth between whether Id prefer something vintage or something new. All I know is whichever way I go, Id love something statement. Im thinking either patterned, or velvet, or an interesting shape…something.
I always feel like there’s never too many resources you can have in your hat and I recently disovered Viyet as another fabulous place to source great designer and vintage futniture and accessories. By NO MEANS are these pieces priced comparatively to what youd expect to pay for things on CL or Let Go, BUT if youre in the market for authentic vintage, rare or hard to find designer pieces you should absolutely add it to your list of places to look.
It should come as no surprise to ANYONE that Ive got my eyes on like 52 chairs at the moment and have them all saved to my favs in various locations! Lol, its a sickness yall. Including this Milo Baughman beauty I keep visually babysitting on Viyet
And this pretty lilac beauty I spied on Anthropologie
Purple is my color this year so Im all about finiding ways to incorporate it in the house right now.
Ive also come across a couple really great options at Home Goods and TJ Maxx recently as well. Im sure when I come across the right one I know, but in the meantime Ill be online stalking on the daily. Do you have a special something your’re in the market for at the moment?
