Hi Everyone!
Im back today with part 2 of our quest to get a long overdue project crossed off the to-do list. WE HAVE GARAGE LIGHTS friends! Yes, I know its not necessary to yell, but in this case I sorta feel like it is! This has been a long time coming and Im just so excited to have it done.
Ok so, in my last post I had narrowed it down to 3 lighting options from Lamps Plus . I liked them all for different reasons and each of them had a good reason it could work. Heres a little refresher:

This one I like for both the shape and the overall look. Its simple and modern and works will with the overall style of our house.
This one I liked, again, for its size and shape. It feels very “cottage” to me so I think it would also work well.
This one is a classic barn style and is just proportioned enough to work. I also like that this one is a dusk to dawn sensored light.

In the end we chose the Arrington! It was definitley the right choice and we LOVE them!!
They were incredibly easy to put together and install as well. All it took was sliding in the glass panes. We only had 8 1/2 inches to work with on the side with the fence and it was a tricky work around. The size is literally perfect and it fits juuuuuuuuust right!
I feel like they are the perfect transitional piece as they aren’t too “style specific” so they will work well no mater the style of your home.
And while I was at it, I went ahead and planted some wisteria to train along the fence as well!
I’ve been wanting something to train along the fence since we had it installed and I really really really wanted wisteria. But after researching and reading up on how invasive and massive they tend to get I started looking into other options. While at the local nursery I came across the Amethyst Falls Wisteria and realized it was the perfect choice! This is an American wisteria variety and unlike the more commonly seen Chinese variety, it is non invasive, is great in cotainers, and has smaller flowers. Im so excited to watch it take off and start to climb up over the arbor next year. Its good in zones 5-9 so if you’ve been wanting a wisteria without the headache definitely look into this one!
I cant even tell you how awesome it is to call this project done! No onto the other 456 things yet to do. Until next time friends..
