Hi Everyone,
If you follow me on IG you know I’ve been giving you guys little sneak peek moments of some new additions to the bungalow kitchen. Ya’ll!! A new range is in the building! Praise be. And it came with some friends as well.
When we first moved in to #thecottagebungalow we got all new appliances, including a GE double oven range that I LOVED. Our last house had double wall ovens and I was so bummed to have to leave them behind, so I was really happy to find a freestanding range with double ovens as an alternative.
We do A LOT of cooking in our house and this range was so great to cook on…until it started to break down. After a few year we were down to only one fully functioning burner, and just the lower oven. 🙁 #notagoodlook We did have service techs come out a few times, but after realizing it was going to cost almost as much to get it fixed as it would for us just to replace it, we decided just to get a new one. I put a call out for your recommendations of reliable ranges via IG and my friends at The Home Depot slid in my emails and rescued us!
We got a major upgrade and we are so ecstatic. We’ve recently started having the kids cook meals as well so it couldnt have come at a better time.
Today Im over on the Home Depot Blog sharing all about why we chose this range (as well as our other new additions to the kitchen) and how its made a difference in our daily lives. I’m really excited to share all of the amazing features that are just perfect for our family, and that could potentially be helpful for yours as well. Make sure to pop over and take a look.
In the meantime I’ll be plotting out all the wonderful fall meals I get to prepare now that I have an entire stovetop of burners to use again!
Until next time friends…..

The title of this blog post alone was reason enough to have a read:) Lucky you. It’s funny how you reach a point (or age) in life where things like new appliances make you super happy.

Ooh you lucky duck! Looks so nice! Our stove is probably 35 years old and the electric ring tops are horribly crooked and tiny! Although I do secretly love the analog clock and buzzing timer. Haha. Hoping for an upgrade soon. Enjoy yours!

Thank you so much Amy!!! There is definitely something soothing about an old buzzing timer.
