We purchased our first house in 2011 in a typical, builder basic planned community in Northern California. We loved that it offered the space we needed for our growing family, but didn’t so much love the fact that our house looked like so many others in the neighborhood. Over the course of three years, room by room, we transformed our cookie cutter house into a fun and colorful home.
