After three years of living in a larger, builder basic newer construction around 2400 sqft 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house, we made the decision to trade it all in for a little old fixer with only 1200 sq ft and just 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Though we enjoyed our first house we realized what we craved was something more, which, quite ironically, translated into a lot less.
It’s always been my dream to own a little old house, so we threw caution to the wind and decided to give it a go! We became the proud owners of our little cottage bungalow in August 2014 and embarked on a new journey into downsized living. She’s a work in progress, and needs a lot of TLC, so check back often for updates as we revamp spaces and turn this old gem into the perfect little home for our family.
