Hi Everyone!
Happy Monday. Honestly, Monday’s are so not my thing. Never have been. Maybe one day they will be, but today, they totally aren’t.
I hope you all had a great weekend. I had a pretty awesome weekend, which is even more of a reason for me NOT to be into Mondays. Anywhoo. Here are some shots of one of my weekend adventures.
Quite often Sacramento hosts Free Museum day and its a great opportunity to check out some of the many many amazing museums we have here. This time we hit up the Aerospace Museum.
Random Shavonda fact: I served in the US Air Force for 6 years. Yep. Sure did. I’m a veteran of these United States of America and its something I’m pretty damn proud of. So here’s to the other men and women currently serving and who also wear the honored title of “veteran”
It was really great and incredibly nostalgic. It was totally my thing.
Oh and also, some happy changes are coming to AHFOC (that’s my super cool and totally non-obvious nickname for the blog, by the way) this week and I cant wait to share them with you guys.
So what adventures did you have this weekend? Do share. Until next time…
XoXo-Shavonda

Well, thank you for your service. I visited Sacramento for a wedding in 2009 and I want to say, you have a lovely city. We really enjoyed driving around and snapping photos of the capital building, the cute bridges and I found it amazing while driving to the wedding venue *sorry can’t remember the city* that we started in the city and drove for 45 minutes and all of a sudden it felt like we were on a back road in Louisiana or Mississippi. The wedding was held in an old restored mansion, totally amazing. It was really charming!

Hi Elizabeth! Would you happen to be talking about Grand Island Mansion? Yes I love my adopted city. Its a major city with a small town feel. Thanks so much for stopping by.

YES!! I do believe that was the place. It was wonderful, sadly my camera batteries died the instant I stepped inside so I wasn’t able to get any photos but I had a lovely time roaming the grand estate.
