Hi Everyone!
Happy Friyay friends! Im back today with another peek into our little bungalow this holiday season. Today Im joining in on the Christmas tours hosted by the super sweet Marty over at A Stroll Thru Life, and giving you a peek into our tiny bungalow kitchen and how I decorated it for the holidays this year. If you’re popping over from my girl Jennifer, Hiya! Jennifer’s home always puts a huge smile on my face. I just love her and her signature pop of kelly green.
Earlier this week I shared how I styled our living room for the holidays this year. I kept things fairly minimal décor-wise and kept the focus on fresh greenery, candles, and silver ornaments. I really love the look and feel of the natural elements alongside our deep walls in this space.
In fact, I loved it so much I decided to continue that theme into the kitchen. As most of you know, we’ve been up to our elbows in construction on our bungalow kitchen renovation over this past year. Last Christmas our kitchen was pretty much bare bones. We had cabinet boxes holding dishes, but no cabinet doors. There were holes in the walls, no backsplash, shoddy electrical, I mean I could go on, but I think you get the picture! Lets just say we were at the very beginnings of making the small 1940s original space much more functional and appealing. Today we are juuuuust about done. There’s a little bit to go yet, but its such an accomplishment to have a fully functioning kitchen this holiday season, so I brought in a bit of holiday cheer to celebrate.
The space is quite small, so there’s not much room to go overboard with decorations. I just focused on keeping things simple to bring a festive feel to the space. Holiday themed art, sprigs of green, ornaments, wreaths, and trimmings in vintage glass bottles add just the right touch.
Next year all bets are off!!! Thank you guys so much for stopping by, and thank you Marty for having me. I’m the last stop on the tour train so please make sure you head back over to Marty’s to start from the beginning if you haven’t done so. Happy Weekend friends! Until next time….

I love the barely there holiday decorating. Too much stuff gets in the way. The pops of greenery are perfect.

Your kitchen in charming! We moved into a house with a serious case of old, shoddy kitchen, so I’ll need this inspiration when we finally get around to working on it. Love the Christmas decor as well!
